Non-Braided Catheter Cutter Specifications:

The Astute Design non-Braided Catheter Tubing Cutter with a DIAL size selector is designed to offer a wide range of cutting flexibility with the ease of a dial adjustment. This cutter can accommodate shaft sizes from 4Fr up to 20Fr with-out any change of tooling. The cutter also utilizes standard, single edge razor blades further reducing costs. Blade change is very simple. The blade holder lifts up exposing the blade which is held in place magnetically. Once the new blade is secured, simply replace the blade holder. Overall cut length is controlled by a Mitutoyo digital gauge and can be adjusted from 0" to 8". Adjustment is accomplished with a thumb- screw on the readout.

Both the uncut shaft and the cut shaft are supported with a swing gate which opens during the cutting stroke allowing the cut segment to drop for easy pickup. This cutter can also be ordered with an optional extended length tubing tray, allowing cutting of shafts up to 96" (digital gauge not used).
